Harry and Barbara Pedersen founded Pedersen's in 1949 in Vancouver, Canada as an off-premises catering company. Today, we are the largest celebration services company in the Pacific Northwest with branches in Victoria and Seattle.
Our catering background created a strong foundation for the company and in 1968, after 20 years of catering, Pedersen's evolved into a full time equipment rental operation. We have always been dedicated to providing the exceptional service and quality products necessary in creating a perfect event.

L & M Chair Covers – Make a small change to make a lasting impression
Our company idea was created summer of 2003 when we had to plan our 425+ persons wedding at a well-known wedding facility in Seattle…but they had PINK stacking chairs and it definitely clashed with our orange/peach color theme. So we came up with a solution by renting white chair covers and matching white organza sashes for our special day. We started looking into it more seriously, and after much research looking on the web and calling around, we found only a few places that did linen rentals in Washington and some online companies from clear across the USA. The prices were not affordable. We resorted to ordering our chair covers from Vancouver, B.C. at half the price but had to drive 3 hours each way to pick-them up and return them…but we were willing to do whatever it took to make our day look like how we envisioned it.
Chair covers make a world of difference at your wedding or any other event. The extra costs are worth it because you will look back at your pictures and see how beautiful the chair covers made your place look. We can tell you from our experience that this was something that was definitely worth the time and money to do…especially on our once in a lifetime day…
In Summer of 2004, we decided to put that vision into reality and wanted to make it easier for anyone that was planning an event to be able to rent good quality and affordable chair covers in the Greater Northwest, thus the creation of: l & m chair covers.

We are a small specialty company that creates authentic, high end, fine pastry and other products. We sell to caterers, peronal chefs, coffee shops, restaurants, event planners, office managers, through local farmers markets, and directly to the public. We also provide personal chef services for that special events or party at your home or othre venue. Additional services include a special date reminder service, and coordination assistance with your event.
We are committed to excellence in everything we do. That includes using whole food ingredients, and organic and sustainably produced goods as much as possible. Because everything we do is by special order, we have the flexibility to produce things for the allergic or sensitive client.
Tallant House is a member Biznik, Green Your Theme Seattle, Wedding Wire, Junebug Weddings, Style Me Pretty, and My Seattle Wedding. We show at the Seattle Wedding Show, Urban Unveilled, Panache, and other invitational events.
We support our community through donations of our products and personal chef services. Our products sell extremely well at auctions, and we love to donate them. However, due to the extraordinary number of requests we get every year, we have to limit the number we can give. We support non-profit organizations that help the helpless, such as homeless, neglected, and abused people and animals. We also must limit honored donation requests to those coming from our existing regular customers as a way to thank them for their business.
