Our last venue theme for Weddings in Woodinville 2015 is for lovely JM Cellars as designed, coordinated and hosted by wedding planner Melody Davis of MG Davis Events and her hand-picked team of supporting wedding vendors.   

"In the spirit of Frank Sinatra we celebrate Weddings in Woodinville this year in the grand style of a 1950s garden fête. Our décor inspiration reflects a time when weddings were often held on a terrace or the lawn of a majestic home with all manner of pomp and circumstance.  As a cornerstone to the Hollywood Regency style, we’ll use black and white as a sharp contrast to the abundance of deep greens in the landscape at JM Cellars while a sprinkle of platinum and gold will add an extra layer of luxe. Scores of crisp paper lanterns will canopy the dining area and dancefloor where guests can relax and enjoy the music of a bygone era and mingle with our team of extraordinary vendors. See you on the dancefloor!"

“We were delighted to discover the Spanish phrase, Mi Media Naranja, indirectly meaning  “my half orange” or, being in love, one’s sweetheart, one’s beautifully perfect other half.  And a perfect complement to the lush evergreen surroundings of JM Cellars is the light, fresh abundance associated with citrus.  Our neutral color palette of taupe, gold and ivory, punctuated with touches of orange and lemon, will celebrate the natural surroundings in a manner of comfort and style.”

Enjoy the abundance of fall at the Farm at Storybook Farm's Wedding & Event Open House

Spend the afternoon meeting with some of your favorite Weddings in Woodinville vendors, or meeting those you missed during our tour, on the charming grounds of Storybook Farm in Redmond, Washington, Sunday, October 13, 2013 from 1-5pm.  

Storybook Farm, MG Davis Events and Pink Blossom Events invite you to enjoy the abundance of fall and spend the afternoon with them and other local wedding & event vendors, wandering the venue, sampling food from local caters, listening to music and finding inspiration for your event as the venue will be filled with floral designs and decor ideas.  This is a family friendly event planned with exciting activities such as apple bobbing so feel free to bring the children, or at least the child inside!

Weddings in Woodinville 2013 theme for JM Cellars, Amor Alegre-Joyous Love, Recap

The intimate gathering places and beautiful natural surroundings of JM Cellars, inspired the team at JM Cellars, under the direction of wedding planner, Melody Davis of MG Davis Events, to create the following wedding theme of Amor Alegre or Joyous Love.  Reminiscent of historic Spanish settlements of California, the inspiration was found in the importance of family and community and the rich traditions passed down through the generations.  A mixture of browns, ambers, saffron and sapphire blue colors were used throughout the ceremony and reception areas. Textiles, as well as old world glass and pottery artfully displayed the use of culinary herbs, vines, and olive branches. A grand communal table under a custom designed gilted chandelier by Vintage Ambiance, offered elegance amid the intimacy of roving Spanish guitarist, Harold Belskus.
