2015 Weddings in Woodinville Guest Planners Announced

On Sunday, January 25th, 2015, seven of Woodinville Wine Country's top wedding venues will open their doors in lavish style to future brides and grooms. Professionals from every facet of planning a perfect wedding will be on hand to answer questions. Explore samples of table settings, floral designs, catering, music and more will be on display. In addition, top of the line transportation will shuttle guests from venue to venue in safety and style. 

Each year, Weddings in Woodinville invites guest planners to join our core three wedding planners, Melody Davis of MG Davis Events, Jacky Grotle of Event Success and Jennifer Taylor of Taylor’d Events by Jennifer, to create this amazing wedding show tour.

Thanksgiving Dinner at Barking Frog

Celebrate with your family Thanksgiving with our partners at Willows Lodge and Barking Frog.  Chef Bobby Moore will delight your families with traditional favorites like Free-Range Turkey and Country Ham to the not so traditional with Jumbo Poaches Prawns and Snow Crab Claws. It doesn’t matter if you’re a Thanksgiving Day purest or not, there’s something for everyone.

Barking Frog and Chef Bobby Moore have been busy creating holiday menus showcasing the rich bounty the season offers and are offering two different dining options you can choose from. The first is THANKSGIVING DINNER IN THE BARKING FROG, 1:00PM-8:00PM.  This year you’ll enjoy a very special Barking Frog four-course tasting menu that is anything but ordinary, inspired by the bountiful fall harvest. The second, is THANKSGIVING BUFFET IN THE SAMMAMISH BALLROOM, with 4 separate seatings to choose from – 1:00PM / 1:15PM / 4:30PM / 4:45PM and offers a Buffet Menu.

Wednesday Wine’d Down Returns to Novelty Hill-Januik Winery in January

One of Woodinville’s favorite summer traditions is over for the season but alas, the good people at Novelty Hill-Januik Winery have heard our cries for more opportunities to join them for pizza or a glass of wine on a Wednesday evening!

Novelty Hill-Januik's Harvest Hoedown

Bring your friends, bring your family, bring your dancin’ shoes and join Novelty Hill-Januik Winery, Sunday, October 19th from 1 – 5 pm for a Harvest Hoedown celebrating the bounty of the season!

Wines by the glass, their famous pizza and delicious bites will be available for purchase, as well as complimentary harvest crafts for the kids. 

From 1:30 – 4:30 pm, local country band sensation Marlin James will be on-hand to entertain.

Get Crushed! With JM Cellars & Novelty Hill-Januik Winery

As Northwest leaves start to turn red and gold, autumn brings a bounty of colorful activities to Woodinville Wine Country and that means it's also Crush Season! Crush is when grapes are harvested and wineries are buzzing with the sights, sounds, sweat and science of winemaking.

To celebrate, Woodinville Wine Country is offering a free, first-hand education in this fascinating process with their annual “Get Crushed” tour on Saturday, October 11th from 12 pm – 5pm.

They’ll feature three different wineries, including Weddings in Woodinville venue wineries JM Cellars and Novelty Hill Januik in the Hollywood and Warehouse Districts as they take Washington grapes from vine to vintage.

We invite you to join them as they experience different processes and offer tasting opportunities! This is a free event but you are encouraged to keep checking the WWC website closer to the event for special “Get Crushed” special pricing at participating wineries.
