"Come Dance With Me" at JM Cellars during Weddings in Woodinville 2015

Our last venue theme for Weddings in Woodinville 2015 is for lovely JM Cellars as designed, coordinated and hosted by wedding planner Melody Davis of MG Davis Events and her hand-picked team of supporting wedding vendors.

Weddings in Woodinville

"In the spirit of Frank Sinatra we celebrate Weddings in Woodinville this year in the grand style of a 1950s garden fête. Our décor inspiration reflects a time when weddings were often held on a terrace or the lawn of a majestic home with all manner of pomp and circumstance.  As a cornerstone to the Hollywood Regency style, we’ll use black and white as a sharp contrast to the abundance of deep greens in the landscape at JM Cellars while a sprinkle of platinum and gold will add an extra layer of luxe. Scores of crisp paper lanterns will canopy the dining area and dancefloor where guests can relax and enjoy the music of a bygone era and mingle with our team of extraordinary vendors. See you on the dancefloor!"

Meet MG Davis Events and all of JM Cellars partcipating vendors on
Sunday, January 25th, 2015, during Weddings in Woodinville.

Weddings in Woodinville - tips for the tour

wedding showWe are so excited! The tour is this Sunday and we can not wait for you to come Eat. Drink. and Plan Your Wedding! with us.

Here are a few tips on how to make the most out of our show & what you can expect:

Dress for the Northwest. Please plan on experiencing all the seasons during the tour.  Many of the venues have outdoor spaces decorated for you to experience the entire venue and although they all offer covering and heaters (thanks to our fantastic rental companies who know how to plan for our wet & cold weather better than anyone) it still can get cold.  Please bring a jacket, scarf and walking shoes that can hold up to the many surfaces you’ll experience between the venues that range from loose gravel to paved concrete.

Check-in begins at 11:30am.  If possible, try to arrive with your entire party so that you can be transported together. Look for the white tent in the Woodhouse Wine Estates parking lot (15500 Woodinville-Redmond Rd NE, Woodinville, WA 98072).

Parking is FREE!  There is plenty of free parking available at Woodhouse Wine Estates and Butler Valet will be on hand to help direct you to the perfect spot.

Bring your ID.  The tour is a wedding show that is also a wine tour as it features over 20 wines from Woodinville Wine Country. Redhook beer and BevMo! champange will also be served at Novelty Hill-Januik Winery. The show is recommended for adults only, however guests under age 21 are welcome to attend with your party. A wristband will be provided at registration to identify you as a guest of Weddings in Woodinville. Wristbands and valid ID are required to participate in the complimentary wine tasting offered at each location.

Be sure to take a program and your complimentary custom canvas tote bag at registration.  Each venue will offer their own program that will highlight the vendors you will see at that location but the main program is a fantastic reference guide for future use that lists the vendors who are participating in the show. Be sure that at least one of you in your party grabs a tote bag as you'll need something to collect all the swag you will be given during the tour!

Be sure to pick up your complimentary Wedding Resource Guides from Weddings in Woodinville's Media Sponsors BanquetEvent.com and Seattle Bride.

Transportation is designed to take you to each venue during the 4+ hour tour so there is no need to create a list of who to see as our tour is designed to give you ample time at each venue to meet & greet all the vendors. Transportation will loop continuously in a pre-determined order, allowing you to visit all seven venues for as long as you like.

Every vendor in our show offers a product or service that directly relates to your wedding day. There are no unrelated companies.

Bring already printed out labels with your name, email and wedding date to hand to vendors who you would like more information on. Weddings in Woodinville does not sell or distribute your contact information to anyone.

You will not be hungry after this tour!  Each venue will have a full-range of appetizers, passed bites and sweets for you to munch on.  Between the 7 venues we have over a dozen caterers sampling their savory to sweet bites.

Budget your time at each venue, as all transportation will return to Registration Parking by 5pm when the show is over if you've visited all venues are not.  We suggest leaving yourself around 30 minutes at each venue to allow plenty of time to see each location. To exit the tour and return to your vehicle at any time please notify the next driver or transportation representative and they will return you to registration. Vehicles will not deviate from the route to make special requested stops other than returning guests to registration by request. Please note general parking is limited or unavailable at many venues and utilizing tour transportation is mandatory unless prior arrangements have been made.

"Like" Us. If you haven’t yet done so, be sure to “like” us on Facebook and follow our blog for the most current news and opportunities from vendors you saw during the tour. We will continue to share special offers and fabulous wedding tips straight from the professionals year-round.

Included in the cost of your ticket is wine, food, and transportation, however, additional wine will be available to purchase at each winery if you can’t leave without getting a bottle (or 2) for later.  San Juan Cigars (whom will be displaying at Novelty Hill-Januik Winery) will also be selling their handmade cigars during the tour for you to enjoy over that bottle of wine later that night as you discuss whom you'll be contacting the next day for services for your wedding.
