Josh Slaughter, Executive Chef at Novelty Hill|JanuikWeddings in Woodinville gives a huge welcome to Novelty Hill|Januik's new executive chef, Josh Slaughter, (who happens to have the largest known collection of bacon-themed t-shirts you can imagine)!  

Josh Slaughter will lead the winery’s culinary program relying on fresh, local and sustainable ingredients. He joined Novelty Hill-Januik in the spring of 2013, bringing a rich culinary background originally shaped under the tutelage of Thomas Keller.  A native of Alabama, Josh moved to Seattle to work alongside Hunger Restaurant’s Jaime Mullins-Brook where he quickly earned a reputation for an inventive, Spanish/Mediterranean inspired menu based on local ingredients with a modern flare. Josh's creative menus and culinary instruction showcase how complementary food and wine pairings work together to enhance flavors and textures.

Celebrate your love this Valentine’s Day with a one-of-a-kind romantic dinner at Novelty Hill-Januik Winery. Guests will enjoy a four-course menu with culinary delights prepared by their in-house staff led by Winery Chef Megan Hartz; indulge in award-winning, single vineyard wines carefully selected for the occasion; and enjoy romantic serenades by the lovely and talented Nilza Lessa Trio. Each table will take home a beautiful centerpiece designed by Fena Flowers.

OPEN BY RESERVATION ONLY: $220 per couple Cellar Circle wine club members; $250 per couple non-Cellar Circle members. Pricing excludes tax and gratuity.  Doors open at 6:30 pm for wine tasting; dinner service at 7 pm
