Fall Class Announcement from Botanique

Botanique has announced a new Fall Class - The Illustrious Cafe au Lait.  Impossible not to love, the dreamy, creamy café au lait dahlia is one of biggest the stars of summer and fall floral arrangements.

They will start this workshop in the Botanique Cutting Garden, learning about care tips and good growing practices for dahlias. Then you will then move into the studio, where Kelly will guide students through creating a gorgeous, seasonal arrangement using café au lait dahlias, and a bevy of other seasonal materials. Students will take home their finished creation.

In addition, participants will be invited back to the studio in spring 2016 to pick up a café au lait tuber to grow in their own garden!

Botanique CSA bouquet service

Who doesn't dream of having unique, local grown, fresh flowers every week to brighten up your home or office?!  

Our friends at Botanique are making your dream come true with their Community Supported Agriculture bouquet service!

For the 2015 season, Botanique is taking on a limited number of subscribers for their weekly CSA bouquet service. Every week, subscribers will receive a fresh arrangement of flowers in a quart-sized mason jar, all grown in the Botanique Cutting Garden in Seattle, Washington. Flowers from the Botanique Cutting Garden in Seattle use organic and sustainable growing practices to produce our gorgeous blooms! Flowers and colors will vary depending on what is blooming.

Arrangements will be available for pick up at the Botanique Studio in Seward Park between the hours of noon-5pm every Thursday- no delivery is available for this service. The subscription runs for 17 weeks, from June 18th-October 8th.

The cost for this service is $35/week, and you can sign up weekly or bi-weekly. We are only accepting five full subscribers this year, so sign up soon to reserve your spot!

You can choose from the following options:

~ Half subscription #1: Arrangements every other week, for a total of 8 weeks, starting June 25th and ending on October 1st. Dates for flower pick up are: 6/25, 7/9, 7/23, 8/6, 8/20, 9/3, 9/17, 10/1) - $280.00

~ Half subscription #2: Arrangements every other week, for a total of 9 weeks, starting June 18th and ending on October 8th. Dates for flower pick up are: 6/18, 7/2, 7/16, 7/30, 8/13, 8/27, 9/10, 9/24, 10/8) - $315.00

~ Full subscription: Weekly arrangements for 17 weeks starting June 18th and ending October 8th, 2015. Dates for flower pick up are: 6/18, 6/25, 7/2, 7/9, 7/16, 7/23, 7/30, 8/6, 8/13, 8/20, 8/27, 9/3, 9/10, 9/17, 9/24, 10/1, 10/8 - $595.00

Spring floral workshops from The Botanique Blog

We've all swooned and pinned them and now it’s your chance to create a seasonal centerpiece or floral crown for yourself!  Weddings in Woodinville floral vendor, Botanique is offering a few workshops this spring taught by Botanique's Owner and Creative Director, Kelly Sullivan. 

SEASONAL CENTERPIECE WORKSHOPS
May 9th and June 28th, 2015 
2:30pm-5pm

Learn how to create a gorgeous, romantic, overflowing centerpiece!

In this class, Kelly will share her approach to designing a centerpiece in Botanique’s signature, “from the garden” style, using local and seasonal ingredients. Through demonstration and ample hands-on design time, students will learn the mechanics and design principals needed to create natural, lush, floral arrangements.

Students will each take home their completed arrangement, and all student work will be professionally photographed by Lora Grady Photography. We are so lucky to have Lora join us for these classes, as her work is stunning, and sure to give your portfolio a great boost!

Two sessions are offered:
~ Saturday, May 9th, 2:30pm-5pm, the day before Mother's Day! Design an arrangement for your mom, or sign up together!
~ Sunday, June 28th, 2:30pm-5pm

Investment: $275 includes all flower and materials, light refreshments, and beautiful, portfolio-building photographs of your completed design by Lora Grady Photography.

FLOWER CROWN WORKSHOP
June 18th, 2015
5pm-7pm
Learn how to create a stunning flower crown!

Kelly will show you the basics of flower crown construction, and there will be ample hands-on time for you to create your own crown. We will cover simple and asymmetrical crown styles, mechanics and finishing touches.

Investment: $150 includes all flowers and materials, light refreshments and of course your completed crown to take home!
