Eat. Drink. & Be Married. during the 8th annual Weddings in Woodinville chauffeured wedding wine tour show, Sunday, January 29, 2017. Woodinville's top 8 wedding venues, Columbia Winery, DeLille Cellars, Hollywood Schoolhouse, JM Cellars, Novelty Hill-Januik Winery, Redhook Brewery, Willows Lodge and Woodhouse Wine Estates open their doors in lavish style to future brides and grooms. Designed as a wine tour, Weddings in Woodinville will give couples, their family and friends a view of these fully decorated venues designed and coordinated by one of our talented wedding planners.  Our wedding planners have transformed each venue using their expertise and select vendors including florists, DJ's, caterers, invitations, linens, decor, lighting, makeup and hair, wedding apparel, officiants, musicians, jewelry, videographers and tenting, to create an example of wedding day perfection.  These industry professionals will also be on hand to answer questions at each location to help you plan & discuss such wedding day elements as table settings, floral designs, catering, music and more.  Top of the line transportation will chauffeur guests from venue to venue in safety and style completing the perfect wedding day image from guest's arrival to the get-away car.  

The tour sells out every year, and this year we are limiting our sales to maintain the intimate and personal engagement opportunities with our vendors our boutique tour experience was built on. Tickets are on sale now!

The full tour takes approximately 4 hours and begins at 12:00 p.m. Registration tent doors will open at 11:30 a.m. & continue until 1:00 p.m. at Woodhouse Wine Estates, where parking is available. Once registered, participants will board chauffeured transportation from Butler Transportation and be on their way for a very informative and enjoyable adventure. Tour concludes at 5:00pm.

Weddings in Woodinville tickets are available online. Currently we are offering Advance Ticket Sales through October 31, 2016 for tickets to be purchased at the 2016 price of $40 per ticket. After this date General Admission tickets will reflect the 2017 prices of $48 per person.

Labyrinth Inspired Winery Wedding

Bonded over their love of David Bowie and Labyrinth, this couple knew that they wanted to incorporate elements of this into their design when planning their wedding. Novelty Hill Januik made for the perfect backdrop to their unique color palette of orange and blue.

"Karisa and Ryan are such a fun-loving couple. They initially bonded over their love of David Bowie and Labyrinth. So, when it came time to start planning a wedding, they knew that they wanted to incorporate elements of this into their design. Novelty Hill Januik made for the perfect backdrop to their unique color palette of orange and blue. The Labyrinth theme was complete when Ryan’s twin brother decided to put on a David Bowie outfit complete with a Labyrinth puppet show! 

   

I remember the first time I met with Karisa, she told me that the most important thing to her and Ryan about their wedding was that it was a party. And it’s safe to say that they had one memorable, rockin’ reception!"

Ferna-lucious Wedding at JM Cellars from Event Success

"Ferna-lucious Wedding at JM Cellars from Event Success" is a guest blog from wedding planner Jacky Grotle of Event Success of the 2016 Weddings in Woodinville wedding wine tour.

“Ferna-lucious” theme was a huge hit at the JM Cellars location on the Weddings in Woodinville 2016 Tour.  Guests were dropped off at Brumble Bump path and greeted by Event Success.  Each guest was given a program designed by The Card Bar in green ombre, then invited to taste a glass of JM Cellars wine.

Together with Aria style Event Success designed a natural modern feel with a lot of wood, fern-a-canes (hurricane candles with ferns), silver accents all while showcasing the venue’s new larger space.  Our inspiration was the lush gardens there at JM Cellars. An iron gate was the entrance to the ceremony space with many great fern accents.  The show stopper was the moss isle runner with lanterns on each side with an organic wreath and pillar arrangements at the “alter area”.

Guests then met some of the great vendors that helped the day & our styled shoot come together like Kathy Evans Beauty, Princess Bride & Amelia Soper Photography.   Thank you to our gracious model. See the amazing photos!

Listening to current tunes/ and featuring a solo violinist provided by Seattle Parties added to the great ambiance as guests sampled delicious food prepared by Kaspars Catering. We used Aria Style’s lounge in front of the fireplace for a spot to relax and warm up.  Hillcrest Bakery did a gorgeous display and gave samples.  This family run bakery always hits it out of the park.

The clear tent, from Cort Party Rentals, had our feature table utilizing geometric wood centerpieces, natural boxes with maidenhair fern accents, all the plates, glassware, silverware, chairs, and stools were from Cort Party Rentals too. Napkins, linens & runners were provided by Choice Linens. The large wood table owned by JM Cellars created a WOW effect and showed guests how a head table can be different & fun. 

Since the wineries allow dogs at the venues and we know they are loved dearly here in the Northwest, we dressed up one in a tux and another in a flower collar and they were a big hit and got many people to smile.

We brought all the items together and styled it to evoke interest and something unique and beautiful.  We hope you loved it as much as we did!

From the Photographer, Blue Rose Photography ~ "Amy & Rodney had a classic and elegant wine country wedding at the DeLille Cellars Chateau in Woodinville Wa. They had a soft color palette of pastel pinks and golds. Amy’s dress is Soterro Midgley from New Beginnings Bridal Shop and her bridesmaids dresses are from The Wedding Bell in Tacoma. The gorgeous flowers were all done by Althauser Designs. The toasts at their reception were some of the funniest and most memorable ! I don’t think I've ever laughed so hard before. The entire day was just flawless and beautiful. Wishing these two a lifetime of happiness!"
