Debunking Wine Club myths and why you should join one today!

When asked to describe Woodinville in one word the most obvious answer has to be WINE, right? More than 90 tasting rooms call Woodinville home now, offering a wide variety of wine-related experiences. But many people don’t realize there’s an entire subculture thriving just below the surface of this hub of activity, otherwise known as the WINE CLUB.

You may ask, why join a wine club when I can visit the tasting rooms on my own? The fact is, most wine clubs don’t have membership fees and members always pay less for their wines, thanks to member discounts. At Novelty Hill - Januik Winery, members of their Cellar Circle wine club receive discounts on all wine purchases, access to limited-edition and club-exclusive releases, and complimentary wine tasting on every visit. But the REAL fun starts with the social calendar!

Novelty Hill - Januik hosts several member-exclusive events each year, most notably their huge Autumn release party. And when we say party, we mean PAR-TAY. For this year’s Post-Harvest Bash in November, the winery welcomed almost 800 members with a full dinner buffet, open wine tasting, dessert by Midori Bakery, and heated shuttle service by Butler Valet & Transportation. Not to mention AMAZING lighting and décor provided by Weddings in Woodinville partners Wave Link Music, Pedersen’s Event Rentals and Lola Event Floral & Design. Release parties are hosted by the winery at no charge to club members.

So the real question is: why wouldn’t you join a wine club? Check out these phenomenal photos from NHJ’s recent Post-Harvest Bash, provided by the uber-talented Laura Marchbanks Photography, to see just what you’re missing!
