gold wedding inspiration

Glamour is back so let’s celebrate!!  Our inspiration is from the Hall of Mirrors at Versailles, France- one of our favorite places.  We add touches of NW and modern elements to create our “Gold & Glamorous” design.  Layering gold, ivory, taupe, mirrors, birch, lace and modern elements we will create a design that is decadent, beautiful & timeless.

Meet Event Success and her vendors at DeLille Cellars on

Nature-Inspired Tablescape published in Northwest Meetings + Events

Northwest Meetings and Events tablescapeWho knew that a trip to the market could lead to such inspiration! But that's just what happened when Jacky Grotle of Event Success went grocery shopping and found inspiration among the melons, cantaloupe to be exact, for DeLille Cellars 2013 Weddings in Woodinville theme "Rustic Ambiance with Contemporary Style".

Jacky worked with her hand-picked team of wedding vendors to create a lush, luxurious design that embraced DeLille’s rustic ambiance with contemporary style. Pear green, champagne and tea-stained hues (all the colors inspired by a cantaloupe) were the perfect accompaniment to the incredible vineyard setting.

Wedding Planning Tips: Wedding Invitations

Seattle wedding and event planner, Jacky Grotle of Event Success, gives her clients the following advice when it comes to wedding invitations: “your wedding should represent your interests and personality.”

For example, Event Success’ client Linda & Lee’s custom invitations seen below are the perfect example of how to use this advice and make it tactile. Jacky tries to learn about her clients before proceeding with wedding planning; although the personalized elements are not always immediately apparent, as no two weddings are exactly alike; but upon learning about Lee’s photomicrography of crystals (from such elements as wine), Jacky, knew that she had to include it in their wedding design, somehow.  Event Success and Merchants Paper and Design ended up using Lee’s artwork, titled “Iris”, in the creation of a custom wedding invitation. Upon viewing the sample proof the bride cried tears of joy as she could not believe how lovely and personal her invitation had turned out.  As a surprise, Linda brought home the mock-up and shared a moment with her fiancé that set the tone that their celebration was going to be extraordinary!
