Silver, Pink & Crystal Valentines Wedding - Pam & Don
An elegant and intimate Valentines Day ceremony and reception held at Willows Lodge. Inspired by the holiday, the color scheme embraced silver, crystals, pink and white.
From Pam: "After 13 years as a single parent, I never really expected to get married again. But then luckily Don came along....and I got to experience what I had always hoped to. This time around I got to do all of the things I didn't get to do the first time around, it was just on a smaller scale. But I got to do all of the "bride" things and enjoyed a lot of it with my girls. This wedding was very special because the wedding party was all family. My two daughters were my bridesmaids, and Don's daughter and son-in-law stood up for him.....and his granddaughter and grandson were our flower girl and ring bearer.
We actually do a lot of wine tasting in Woodinville and are club members at Matthews Winery and Alexandria Nicole Cellars, so I was so excited when I came across a Weddings in Woodinville advertisement. We had stayed at Willows Lodge a few times so it had always been a favorite place of ours. So it just seemed perfect for us to get married in Woodinville. I checked out a couple of the wineries before we made our final decision.
Northwest Engravers did wine stoppers for our wedding favors, and we also had them engrave a large wine bottle for our guests to sign. Since several attendees enjoy wine, and being that we were in wine country, I thought the wine stoppers were perfect. It was a pink foil chocolate heart with the stopper in honor of Valentine's Day
We also had a special wine tasting with friends the day after at Matthews Winery and Alexandria Nicole Cellars.
What I was hoping for was a elegant and intimate ceremony/reception. My color scheme was silver, crystals, pink and white. I love bling, so tried to incorporate it throughout. Lots of mercury and crystal candles, as I wanted candlelight to be most of the lighting.”
